Y�know, it�s days like today that I really like my job. We had the press conference this morning, and it went over quite well. I like organizing events; I think it�s something I�m quite good at, and that makes me happy. It�s nice to be good at something that not everyone can do. I know, planning an event doesn�t sound that difficult, but there are many little things to be done, all of which are very important. No one notices if the lighting is nice, but everyone notices if it�s not, let me tell you!So anyway, event planning is one aspect of my job I really like. I like the media relations part too, and I�m very good at that, but my boss thinks in a Toronto way and expects me to be more hard-hitting with the media. But, I�ve been in this city longer and know how to handle the media� I can get what I want without being hard, and I think that if I can�t, then it�s not worth damaging the relationships I�ve built with the media. Anyway, it�s really not in my personality to be hard.
Today I see the specialist to find out what�s wrong with my tummy. It�s still causing me problems, I just don�t complain about it as much here. �My tummy hurts� get old quickly. I hope I get some sort of answer soon to this, it does interfere with my everyday life!
