The other day, I almost died. Normally, that sentence is an exaggeration of the situation. For example: "The other day, I almost died. I had this HUGE hangnail, and it was trying to kill me." However, this time I’m serious. I took a multivitamin, and it got wedged in my throat. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t cough, and as I’m leaning over my kitchen sink trying to make myself spit it up, I actually thought "How ironic. I’m going to die choking on my vitamin." But, don’t worry, I managed to get it out and I’m not dead, but I’m a little wary of my pills now.
