Beer Bad.

Ack. I have such a nasty headache. And, its all from two beers. Two Light beers, to be exact.

Theres history here, so just let me go back for a moment

I used to drink anyone under the table. Hell, Id drink em anywhere! However, there was a time when I went into college that I became extremely anxious, depressed and completely messed up. I started having anxiety attacks, my arms and legs would often go numb, especially during sleepso I gave that up for a while I was a mess. During that time, my skin became very sensitive. I developed an allergy to some ingredient in most soaps, and had to buy expensive soaps and shampoos, or else Id break out into hives all over my arms and face. Pleasant, let me tell you. At this time, I had forsaken drinking for other mind-body experiences (namely any drug I could get my hands on Im telling ya, I was a messed up kid in college. Im much better behaved now. Trust me.)

Then, at Thanksgiving I went home. For kicks, we went to the near by casino, where my friend and I decided to watch the magic act rather than gamble. I had a total of three gin and tonics in about four hours. We also had food. Then we went home. Once home, I ran to the bathroom and was so violently ill. Ive never been so sick in my life. Ive had waaaay more to drink than that in the past, but hey, what can you do. My friend wanted to take me to the hospital, but I didnt want to go. Then, closer to Christmas, I again decided to have a couple of drinks. I had two beer. I was so sick again. This time I was at school, where I lived beside a hospital. My friends took me there where I found out that I was indeed allergic to alcohol. I was so sick. It was awful. I thought I was going to die. So, I swore off alcohol for good.

So, true to my word, I occasionally tried to drink. But, after a few sips, my stomach would churn and Id start to feel drunk. So, Id stop. Well, a few months ago I again tried a few sips of a beer. Nothing. I had a few more Feelin good. So, I had the whole damn bottle. I was very happy by the end, but nothing more. Since that time, I have been enjoying the occasional beer while out. Its nice. Im liking being able to do this. There are many people Id like to go out with at home and have a beer with for old times sake.

Last night, of course, I went out with Sue and my friend who came up to visit me. We all went to boxing (my friend from outta town is also a boxer having made her debut here) and we went to the local Irish pub where we had beer. I had two. Thats not much. Now, I have a gawd awful headache and feel like throwing up every time I try to put food in my mouth. So, I guess one is my limit.

Im pathetic.
